The Department of the Interior and Local Government XII kicked-off the month-long activities on October 4, 2021 for the 30th Local Government Month Celebration with Filipino fiesta-themed decors welcoming personnel and guests at the office lobby. This year’s theme “Wonders of Devolution: 30 Years of Strong and Empowered Local Governments” hints of the bounty and blessing for the Filipinos as the Mandanas-Garcia Ruling will be implemented in 2022.

This was how RD Josephine Cabrido-Leysa, CESO III summed up the key factors which led to DILG XII’s sudden rise to rank 3 among all the regional offices nationwide in the recently released performance scorecard from DILG Central Office.

During the regular Monday convocation on September 13, RD Leysa broke the good news to the employees and staff of DILG XII after receiving a confirmatory message about the region’s most recent standings.

In line with the celebration of the 121st anniversary  of the Civil Service Month, the Human Resource Management Division (HRMD) -DILG launched the ‘HR Online Summit’ via Zoom platform which featured the four (4) regions with noteworthy best practices relative to the four core  human resource management systems. The four (4) core HRM Systems consists of: (1) recruitment, selection, and placement; (2) learning and development; (3) performance management; and, (4) rewards and recognition.
