Assistant Regional Director Lailyn A. Ortiz CESO V joined the Ground Breaking Ceremony of the 2021 Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP) in Columbio, Sultan Kudarat on February 3, 2021 on behalf of the DILG Regional Director Josephine Cabrido-Leysa CESO III.
Out of the 62 Projects in the province with a total amount of 240 Million Pesos, 11 Million pesos had been earmarked for the four (4) 2021 SBDP Projects in the Barangays of Mayo, Natividad and Maligaya in Columbio, Sultan Kudarat.
The 1st quarter RGADC XII committee meeting was attended by thirty-one (31) out of Fifty-three (53) committee members last February 10, 2022, via zoom online platform (84% - Women, 16% - Men).
Work for true change through compassionate and harmonized actions and network for Gender Equality was the highlight of RGADC XII Chairperson - DILG Regional Director Josephine Cabrido-Leysa, CESO III, in her opening message as she quoted “ Our change shall move towards attaining our AmBisyon 2040 of a strongly rooted (matatag), comfortable (maginhawa), and a secure (panatag) life for all Filipinos.”
BGen. Potenciano C. Camba has formally and officially ended his tour of duty as the Brigade Commander of the 1002nd Infantry (‘Bagwis’) Brigade under the 10th Infantry (Agila) Division on February 3, 2022 during a simple turnover rites held at the Covered Court of the Headquarters 1002nd Bde, Camp Herminigildo A Agaab Jr, in Sitio Pulatana, Brgy. Malandag, Sarangani Province.
The change of command was presided over by BGen Allan D Hambala, PA, the acting commander of the 10th Infantry (Agila) Division, Philippine Army, the event's guest of honor.
Recognizing the vital role played by the Civil Society Organizations (CSO) and private sector representatives (PSR) which sit in various local and special bodies in the local and regional development councils, members of the Regional Development Council (RDC) XII has recently given its full support to the establishment of CSO Academy for SOCSKSARGEN.
During the 4th Quarter Regular Meeting of the Macro-Economy Development Administration and Finance Committee (MEDAFC) XII on December 2, 2021 the Committee recognized the need to capacitate CSOs so they can fully engage in the development processes.
