One of the main golas of the Department is to develop peaceful,safe,self-reliant and develop-directed communities.To help achieve this,DILG Rehiyon Dose conducted various activities form July 5-7,2022,including the provision of technical assistance to LGUs,holding of coordination meetings to the concerned provinces,and conducting performance assessment of LGUs on Local Road Managements.

The Regional Inter-Agency Monitoring Task Force (RIMT) convenes to finalize the rating of the CY 2022 Functionality Assessment of the Provincial/HUC Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence against Women and their Children last July 5, 2022, at the 2nd Floor of DILG XII, Koronadal City.

The meeting was attended by Ms. Jamellah Natangcop and Ms. Noraima E. Dalam from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Atty. Allysza Mae de la Fuente and Ms. Nasrife A. Malawani from the Department of Justice (DOJ), and PSSG Mary Jane R Gayagoy from the Philippine National Police (PNP).

The Department of the Interior and Local Government XII holds a two-day Training-of-Trainers at Paraiso Verde Resort, Koronadal City in the Preparation of Local Plans for Children in Region XII last August 4-5, 2022 at Paraiso Verde Resort, Koronadal City.

Participants to the activity include the following:

1. DILG Regional and Provincial Focal Persons ;

2. RIMTF Members from RCWC and Save the Children; and

3. PCPC Secretariat and PPDO representative

The Training activity aims to establish a pool of resource persons who can be deployed in various parts of Region XII to help capacitate the Local Council for the Protection up to the Barangay level.

Simultaneous monitoring, inspection and validation activities were conducted by DILG Rehiyon Dose’s Project Development and Management Unit (PDMU) assessment team in the Provinces of Cotabato, Sarangani and Sultan Kudarat last July 26-28, 2022.

In Sultan Kudarat, a team of DILG technical engineers, engineers from the Provincial Engineering Office and the representatives of the Local Project Monitoring Committee (LPMC) of LGU-Columbio, conducted a three-day monitoring and evaluation of the ongoing projects in the Barangays Maligaya, Telafas and Lasak which were funded under the FY 2021 Local Government Support Fund – Support to Barangay Development Program (LGSF-SBDP).

DILG Dose Regional Director Josephine Cabrido-Leysa, CESO III, together with the members of the Regional Executive Committee, led the ceremonial groundbreaking ceremony last July 22, 2022 as the building project gets a green light to start its construction.

The new building amounting to PHP 6,000,000.00 is a two-storey office building which features a garage on the ground floor and an ample office space area on the second floor.
