In a proactive move to embrace digitalization and improve Competitiveness and Ease of Doing Business (EODB) of the local government units in Rehiyon Dose, DILG XII through the Local Government Capability Development Division (LGCDD) in collaboration with the DILG Provincial Offices, Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) Eastern Mindanao Field Office and Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) XII spearheaded the conduct of Audit of LGU Compliance on EODB Standards to select fifteen (15) local government units (LGUs) of Rehiyon Dose.

At least 60 youth and community leaders from across Region XII gathered today, October 15, 2025, for the opening of the SOX PEACE Wemboree 3.0 held at the Greenleaf Hotel, General Santos City. The three-day activity, which will run until October 17, 2025, serves as a celebration of unity, hope, and collaboration among peacebuilders and young advocates for community resilience and harmony.

Regional Director Atty. Rochelle D. Mahinay-Sero, CESE of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) XII welcomed the participants, expressing pride in the youth’s growing role in peacebuilding.

Tagbilaran City, Bohol | September 19, 2025

In a compelling exchange of best practices and governance innovations, the Local Governance Regional Resource Center (LGRRC) Dose led a post-benchmarking progress dialogue with LGU Tagbilaran, reaffirming its commitment to the Open Government Partnership (OGP) journey. The visit, which included key stops at the Provincial Government of Bohol, the Tagbilaran City DRRM E911 Center, the City of Tagbilaran, and the DILG Bohol Provincial Office, showcased LGRRC VII’s strides in transparency, citizen engagement, and technological advancement.

The 2025 Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Forum, held on September 16 at Greenleaf Hotel, General Santos City, brought together over 500 participants from across the country to advance digital transformation in local governance. Anchored on the theme “Faster, Smarter, Better: Advancing EODB in LGUs Towards Accelerated Development,” the forum served as a national platform for showcasing e-governance initiatives, exchanging success stories, and aligning local efforts with the national digitalization agenda.
