Members of the Regional Financial Monitoring Team (RFMT) facilitated a Coordination Meeting to address the Php 277, 059, 278.31 unliquidated balances of the Local Government Units (LGUs) under the Locally Funded Programs (LFPs) of the Department. 

Ms. Verna Roz Taperla, DILG XII Financial Analyst III, confirmed that there were 39 Municipal and Provincial LGU accountants with pending balances who attended the said meeting at Paraiso Verde, Koronadal City last February 27, 2020. They have been primarily gathered to reconcile the discrepancies between the Department and LGUs’ financial reports and update the latter’s liquidation rate.

Department of the Interior and Local Government XII Regional Director Josephine Cabrido-Leysa CESO III gave assurance on the Department’s full support in Sarangani’s bid to localize the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and help eradicate extreme poverty and hunger by 2030 through the Roads2SDGs program.
