In an effort to support the Local Government Unit of Senator Ninoy Aquino, Sultan Kudarat in its journey towards achieving the Seal of Good Local Governance, DILG Dose Regional Director, Atty. Rochelle D. Mahinay-Sero, CESE, interfaced with Mayor Randy L. Ecija and other local officials on January 14, 2025. RD Sero was joined by Assistant Regional Director Samuel A. Camaganacan, CE; Provincial Director Margarita H. Baynosa, MPA; DILG Dose Regional Office Division Chiefs; and MLGOO Ricii Exiomo.

DILG XII Regional Director Atty. Rochelle D. Mahinay-Sero, CESE, paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Lorelie Geronimo-Pacquiao on January 13, 2025. RD Sero was accompanied by Assistant Regional Director Samuel A. Camaganacan, CE; City Director Rilimin H. Sandoval; DILG XII Regional Office Division Chiefs; and other DILG General Santos City personnel.

This year’s New Year’s call of DILG Dose to LGU General Santos City is a testament to the department’s continued support in assisting the LGU with renewed focus and purpose. RD Sero reaffirms the DILG’s dedication to support the programs and initiatives of LGU GenSan towards sustainable development and good governance.

Davao City, December 18, 2024 — The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region XII conducted a benchmarking activity in Davao City to study the acclaimed Peace 911 program, a transformative initiative that has successfully fostered sustainable peace and inclusive governance in conflict-affected areas.

 

The DILG XII delegation, led by Regional Director Atty. Rochelle D. Mahinay-Sero, CESE, included Provincial Directors, Division Chiefs, members of the Executive Committee (Execom), and EO 70 Support Staff. They were warmly welcomed by LGOO VI Jessica R. Casas, who represented City Director Vicky P. Arcenas.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) XII's Local Government Capability Development Division (LGCDD) successfully conducted a comprehensive three-day training on the Management of the Dead and Missing Persons (MDM) at the Venue 88 Hotel and Events Place in General Santos City on December 4-6, 2024. The training aims to capacitate the selected participants to develop/enhance their competencies on MDM, specifically on the policy frameworks, component, protocols, standards, guidelines, reporting forms and templates, and systems of coordination and interoperability in the performance of their functions during emergencies and disasters.
