The Department of the Interior and Local Government Regional Office XII (DILG XII) demonstrated its commitment to maintaining a drug-free environment through its participation in the Drug-Free Workplace Program (DFWP) Assessment, held on October 11, 2024, at the DILG Regional Office in Koronadal City, South Cotabato.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region XII, through its Project Development and Management Unit (PDMU), participated in the turnover ceremony of vital infrastructure projects funded under the FY 2022 Local Government Support Fund - Support to Barangay Development Program (LGSF-SBDP) in Brgy. Lamfugon, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato on October 9, 2024.

Among the completed projects were the Health Station worth ₱1.5 million, and Level II Potable Water System worth ₱2.5 million. These facilities are expected to significantly improve access to healthcare services and clean water, addressing two critical needs in the community.

The Project Development and Management Unit (PDMU) successfully wrapped up the second batch of "Engineering for Non-Engineers" (EFNE) training for Local Project Monitoring Committees (LPMCs) from selected Local Government Units (LGUs) in Region XII, held from September 26-27, 2024, in General Santos City.

The Mahintana Foundation Inc., in partnership with DILG XII and the Department of Budget and Management, has successfully conducted the Mindanao Open Government Partnership (OGP) Regional Forum and ProPEACE Learning Exchange with the theme, "Advancing Local Governance: From Policy Actions to Results Towards an Inclusive and Peaceful Future Together," at Venue 88, General Santos City today, November 14, 2024.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region XII has shown strong support for National Children’s Month, aligning with this year’s theme, “Break the Prevalence, End the Violence: Protecting Children, Creating a Safe Philippines.”

 

In a symbolic gesture of commitment to child protection and empowerment, DILG XII employees recited the Panatang Makabata during their regular Monday Convocation at both the Regional and Provincial offices. The recitation, led by LGMED Chief Musarapha A. Alim, MPA at the Regional Office, underscored the department's unwavering support for initiatives aimed at safeguarding children’s rights and welfare.
