To sustain the quality and smoothness in the preparation and implementation of the projects, the Department of the Interior and Local Government Regional Office XII, through the Project Development Management Unit (PDMU) recently conducted a Coordination Meeting together with DPWH District Engineer and eight (8) LGUs in the Region. Among the eight (8) LGUs, the Municipality in Tulunan in Cotabato Province and Malungon in Sarangani are recipients of a Public Cemetery, and six (6) LGUs are the recipients of Public Markets. These LGUs are Pres. Roxas and Magpet, Cotabato Province, Polomolok, Sto. Niño, Tantangan and the City of Koronadal in South Cotabato.

Koronadal City – Guests, DILG XII employees and spectators gathered to witness the Culmination Program for 2019 Paskuhan Village on Saturday, December 7, as the week-long festivity has come to an end after featuring well-lit and brightly decorated office buildings at the regional center in Carpenter Hill in Koronadal City.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government XII has shown its support to the province of Sultan Kudarat as the latter signed a Pledge of Commitment to help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) last November 6-7, 2019 at the SP Hall, Sultan Kudarat Capitol.

Local officials and employees from the said province as well as representatives from national lined agencies and civil society organizations joined the said activity.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government XII, through the Project The Department of the Interior and Local Government XII, through the Project Development Management Unit (PDMU), evaluated the provinces in the region on its Local Road Management (LRM) practices during a series of assessments conducted last October 22 to 25, 2019.

Based on the results,  the Province of Cotabato showed a high rating on LRM capacity and performance with a total rate of 85 percent. South Cotabato gained a total rate of 56.25 percent, Sarangani province with 54.375 percent, and Sultan Kudarat province with 36.875 percent.
