The Barangay Health Emergency Response Teams (BHERTs) of Region XII were technically enriched on March 12 during the conduct of the first (1st) episode of the online webinar series (OWS), one of the components of the project entitled “Serye sa Dose: BHERTs Katuwang sa Mas Ligtas na Komunidad”. BHERTS have been at the frontline in the fight against coronavirus for more than a year and they played a huge part in the COVID-19 response of the local government units.

Attendees to the regular RGADC XII Virtual Café, Café Juana doing the Serye sa Dose web talk were treated to not just one but two lady Regional Directors who shared their life stories as part of the celebration of the National Women’s Month on March 15, 2021 via the Zoom and Facebook live platform.
Both the lady RDs were the inspirational speakers who imparted their colorful career journey as they served their community in various capacities.

DILG XII celebrated this year’s women’s month activity with a twist on March 8, through its Café Juana, a virtual and real coffee shop which form part of this year’s showcase of women empowerment. The event started with a ceremonial cutting of ribbon and showcasing Café Juana.
The brick-and-lumber mock-up, complete with a low center table and some cushioned lounge chairs, offered a comfortable and cozy corner for both the attendees at the DILG XII Conference Room and online. A makeshift kitchen was built for the purpose to achieve the full coffee shop setting.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) XII is set to formally receive its bronze award for exemplary performance in human resource management from the Civil Service Commission XII this March.
“To recognize the efforts of the Office, especially the Human Resource Team and committee members who contributed to this success, we are pleased to have a regional awarding ceremony this March 2021,” CSC XII Regional Director Resurreccion P. Pueyo stated through a letter to DILG XII Regional Director Josephine Cabrido-Leysa, CESO III early this year as the Commission Director confirms to confer the PRIME-HRM Bronze Award to the Department.
