The DILG Region XII, through its Human Resource and Management Office, conducted the CY 2021 New Employees General Orientation on January 28, 2021 via Zoom platform. Fifty (50) participants, composed of newly-promoted and newly-hired plantilla personnel and newly-hired and renewed Contract of Service (COS) personnel of the Region, immersed in a one-day full-packed presentation and discussion on various topics aimed to provide them a head start as they begin to actively take part in the implementation of the various programs, projects, and activities of the Department.

Residents of Sto. Niño town in South Cotabato province will now have additional public market stalls to help boost local businesses as the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) XII and Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) XII turned-over its progressive type-two-storey public market project to the local government unit last January 22.
“The LGU is very thankful to the DILG. This will definitely benefit a lot of business owners in the municipality,” Sto. Niño town mayor Sulpicio Villalobos said during the turn-over ceremony.
In its continuing bid to ‘start right’, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) XII hosted an Orientation on Strategic Performance via video conference last January 12, 2021 at 9:30 in the morning.
Joining the said teleconference were both the field and Regional Office personnel of DILG XII. The orientation which was aimed at providing the attendees with enough working knowledge about the marked changes in the information required for the SPMS forms.
“Appreciate your jobs. Do your best.”
This was part of the central message of RD Josephine Cabrido-Leysa, CESO III for all the personnel and staff of the Regional Office during the first and second working weeks of 2021.
RD Leysa welcomed the handful of regular employees in attendance during the first working day on January 4 since contract-of-service (COS) workers were still to go through their scheduled virtual interviews and they were given time to prepare needed documents for renewal.
