DILG XII Regional Director Josephine Cabrido-Leysa, CESO III, has once again reiterated her crusade to all DILG XII employees and personnel to strictly observe minimum public health protocols, especially while at work, to avoid the risk of being infected with Covid-19.
In her regular briefers via the Viber and Messenger Group Chats, she called on all division heads and field officials to take heed of the warnings as health authorities in the Region also renewed their call to the public “to refrain from doing non-essential travels and attending social gatherings and to strictly follow the minimum health protocols to prevent the rise of COVID-19 cases”.
“A victory for President Roxas…”
This is how DILG XII Regional Director Josephine Cabrido-Leysa, CESO III, described the latest projects of the Department of the Interior and Local Government as they were turned over to the LGU of President Roxas on March 25.
In her message, she emphasized that the municipality is one of the chosen localities in the region to receive such projects. The director also appreciated the LGU’s effective implementation of the projects and challenged each official to continue the good practice.
DILG XII Regional Director Josephine Cabrido – Leysa spearheaded the turn-over of the Php 13 Million worth concrete access road to LGU of Magpet, Cotabato Province on April 5, 2021.
In her message, Regional Director Leysa commended the LGU’s fast and successful implementation of the concrete access road linking Barangay Pangao-an to Barangay Manobisa in the said municipality. She highlighted the Department’s commitment to capacitate and work alongside with the LGUs, as it aims to provide functional projects based on the needs of the residents.
DILG XII celebrated this year’s women’s month with a twist through its Café Juana, a virtual and real coffee shop, which showcased series of weekly virtual talks dubbed as “Serye sa Dose: Babae Pambihira Ka #Pag-On”.
The month-long activity started with a ceremonial cutting of ribbon and showcasing of Café Juana during its kick-off activity last March 8.
