CMGP is a partnership program between DILG & DBM for Provincial Governments to address the poor state of local roads across the country to improve national-local roads connectivity by enhancing capacities of PLGUs in Local Roads Management (LRM) and Public Financial Management (PFM).
Out of sixty three (63) projects in Region 12, there are twenty eight (28) CMGP projects completed, twenty (20) projects are ongoing, One (1) is under procurement, and fourteen (14) are under review.
Koronadal City - The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) -Regional Office XII, together with the officials of Barangay Carpenter Hill and the Koronadal City PNP, joined hands for an initial clean-up drive at the entrance gate of the Prime Government Center, this City.
Koronadal City- The DILG Regional Office XII displayed more than 30 brand new flags along its perimeter fence, making true to its commitment of honoring the Philippine Flag during the celebration of the National Flag Days which started on May 28 and will last until the celebration of Philippine Independence on June 12.
In the morning of May 28, employees of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) - Regional Office XII joined the whole nation in the commemoration of the 2019 National Flag Day at exactly 8:00 AM in compliance to DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2019-76.
After the singing of the National Anthem, the employees recited the “Pagpupugay”.
Koronadal City - DILG XII Regional Director Josephine Cabrido-Leysa expressed appreciation for the first-hand information shared by a former rebel who outlined the CTGs tactics and modes of infiltration and expansion, targeting various targets, among others, like government institutions, schools or labor groups.
‘We have not attained complete victory against insurgency yet.’
This was how DILG XII Regional Director Josephine Cabrido- Leysa summed up the overall status of the government’s campaign against the local communist movement in the Region during the opening of the Provincial Planning Workshop on Building Sustainable Peace towards a Peaceful, Inclusive, Just and Equitable Development which was hosted by the DILG- Regional Office XII.
