Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC) XII Successfully Conducts its 1st Regular Meeting

The Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC) XII successfully conducted its 1st regular meeting last April 23, 2018 at The Farm, Carpenter Hill, City of Koronadal, South Cotabato.

The meeting was presided by no less than the RPOC XII Chairperson, Hon. Governor Datu Pax Mangudadatu. It was attended by the RPOC XII Vice Chairperson, PCSupt. Marcelo C. Morales, Head Secretariat DILG RD Reynaldo M. Bungubung, CESO IV, PPOC chairpersons of Sarangani and Cotabato, Governors Steve Solon and Emmylou “Lala” Taliño-Mendoza, respectively. Present also are the commanders of the 10th ID and 6th ID of the Philippine Army and the other 24 regular members of the RPOC XII.

Local Government Unit (LGU) of Sto. Niño Hon. Mayor Pablo M. Matinong and Hon. Vice Mayor Sulpicio F. Villalobos together with guest Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) XII Regional Director (RD) Reynaldo M. Bungubung, CESO IV, DILG-South Cotabato Provincial Director (PD) Aurora Andrea G. De Pedro and DILG-South Cotabato Outcome Manager (OM) Eleanor C. Magbanua led the cutting of ribbon and ceremonial turn-over of the Assistance to Municipalities (AM) 2017 Road Projects and Performance Challenge Fund (PCF) 2016 Project last April 17, 2018 at 9 o’clock in the morning at Brgy. Poblacion Public Market.

DILG XII Showcases the Barangays of Centrala, Surallah, South Cotabato and Daguma, Bagumbayan, Sultan Kudarat For CY 2018 1st Semester Barangay assembly day

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) XII showcased the Barangays of Centrala, Surallah, South Cotabato and Daguma, Bagumbayan, Sultan Kudarat for the CY 2018 1st Semester Barangay Assembly Day held on March 31, 2018.

The assembly meeting of Centrala was conducted in the morning, while Daguma was in the afternoon. Both assemblies were graced by DILG XII Regional Director Reynaldo M. Bungubung, CESO IV. He read the message of the Secretary of the Interior and Local Government pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 2018-31.

DILG Region XII joins the Motorcade during the Celebration of the International Women’s Day

On March 8, 2018, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) participated the motorcade together with other regional line agencies in celebration of the International Women’s Day, with the theme “We make change, Work for women”.

Among others, an Interagency “Salo-salo”, Zumba and Parlor Games were showcased. It also highlights the contributions of women in the society and emphasizes on the elimination of women discrimination; whereby empowering them to become partners in nation building.

Locally Funded Project Assessment and Planning Workshop

The Project Development and Management Unit (PDMU) of DILG Region 12 aims to achieve its deliverables this 2018 on schedule. Hence, a Locally Funded Projects (LFPs) Assessment and Planning Workshop was conducted last February 21, 2018 at Villa Amor Hotel, Koronadal City to assess what has been done and what things to be done to improve the Performance of the Region.
The participant to the said activity are the Provincial and City Directors, Focal Persons, PDMU Staff, Chief of Staff and the DILG Planning Officer.
