In two (2) separate activities, a total of one hundred and eighteen (118) former rebels who surrendered in the provinces of Sultan Kudarat and Sarangani were granted financial assistance under the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP).

On July 11, 2018, Sultan Kudarat 1st District Congressman Datu Suharto Mangudadatu, DILG Undersecretary for Peace and Order Bernardo Florece, Jr. and DND Undersecretary for Civil Veterans and Retirees Affairs Reynaldo Mapagu led the awarding ceremony for one hundred and six (106) former rebels who surrendered in Sultan Kudarat.

The Project Development and Management Unit (PDMU) -12, recently conducted its FY 2018 Locally Funded Projects (LFPs) Midyear Assessment and Planning Workshop held at Sitio Maupot, Magpet on June 20-21, 2018, attended by the Provincial and City Directors, Budget and Finance staff of the Regional and Provincial Offices, Focal Persons for the LFPs, and the PDMU-12 staff.

The DILG XII, headed by Regional Director Reynaldo M. Bungubung, conducted an Orientation on Federalism for SK Officials of Sultan Kudarat on June 16, 2018 at the Carlito’s Restaurant, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat. 

Ms. Anne Joy Sanchez, Regional Project Officer-DILG XII discussed the Federalism 101. Members of the Regional Federalism Speaker’s Bureau Ms. Helen Grace D. Sayon, LGOO V and Mr. Relmie Tamson, LGOO II presented the Emerging Models of Federalism 1.0 and the Revised Guidelines on the Implementation of Federalism Advocacy Campaigns, respectively.

DILG XII conducted Orientation on Federalism for SK Officials of Cotabato Province on June 30, 2018 at the JC Complex, Kidapawan City. 

“I urge everyone to give their full attention on the orientation to completely understand the concepts and the emerging model of federalism so that you can aide the department in its massive campaign on federalism”, PD Ali B. Abdullah emphasized in his welcome message for he recognizes the vital role of the millennial youths on the success of the government’s campaign on federalism.

On June 27, 2018, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region XII conducted the “BNEO GREAT Program Implementers Webinar Platform Orientation cum BNEO Focal Persons’ Conference” at DILG XII Conference Room, Koronadal City, South Cotabato. On behalf of Regional Director Reynaldo M. Bungubung, CESO IV, the FAD  Chief, Mr. Dennis Sucol, MPA, gave a Welcome Remarks stressing the importance of the BNEO- GREAT Program in capacitating the newly- elected barangay officials to effectively perform their mandated functions and responsibilities.
