Thirteen (13) local government units across Region XII have taken a significant leap in enhancing their project implementation and evaluation capabilities through the recently concluded 3-day Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation (RBME) Training. Held under the Regional Institutional Development and Support (RIDS) Year 2 Implementation, the training aimed to address key gaps identified in the latest Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) assessment particularly in project utilization and execution.

The Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC) XII successfully convened its 2nd Quarter Regular Meeting for Calendar Year 2025 on June 24, 2025, at The Farm @ Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City. The meeting was presided over by RPOC XII Vice Chairperson and PNP PRO 12 Regional Director, PBGEN Arnold P. Ardiente, and was attended by representatives from national government agencies, local peace and order councils, local government units, law enforcement agencies, and civil society organizations across Region XII.

The DILG XII as the Vice Chairperson of the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (RDRRMC) XII – Disaster Preparedness Committee convened its 2nd Quarter Meeting for CY 2025 on June 10, 2025, at the DILG XII Regional Office in Koronadal City. Eighteen member agencies attended the meeting.

To ensure the effective implementation of its flagship leadership program for newly elected officials, the Local Government Academy (LGA), in partnership with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) XII, conducted the Orientation for Capacity Development Managers on Performing Leadership and Uplifting Service Orientation (NEO PLUS+++) at Venue 88 Hotel, General Santos City.

Demonstrating a strong commitment to strengthening the advocacy against trafficking and violence against women and their children, the functionality assessment of the Local Committees against Trafficking and Violence against Women and their Children (LCAT-VAWC) in the provinces and the Highly Urbanized City (HUC) of Region XII was recently concluded.

 

The Regional Inter-Agency Monitoring Team (RIMT) conducted a series of on-site assessments on the following dates and locations: June 3, 2025- Province of Sultan Kudarat and South Cotabato; June 4, 2025- General Santos City and the Province of Sarangani; and June 5, 2025- Province of Cotabato.
