Corollary to the Department Order to participate in the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) National Validation, the LGPMS team of the Region has cross-posted the ten(10) local government units of CARAGA potential of passing the SGLG on August 22-26, 2016.

Together with LGMED Chief Ester P. Valdez as the head of delegation, members of the team include LGOO V Maria Alma B. Engcong (RFP), LGOO V Sadria S. Paglala (PFP-North Cotabato), LGOO V Mary Grace D. Santarin(PFP-Sarangani), and LGOO VI Augustus T. Tabugo (PFP-Sulta Kudarat).

Sa umpisa pa lamang, malinaw na ang direktiba ni Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte: ang pagsugpo sa ilegal na droga, kriminalidad, at korapsyon.

Mabigat ang tungkulin na ito at isa ang DILG sa inaasahang manguna sa pagpapatupad ng kampanyang ito. Higit kailanman, ngayon natin kailangang magtulungan at magkaisa dahil iisa ang ating layunin – isang tapat at malinis na gobyernong nakakapagbigay ng tapat at maayos na serbisyo sa mga mamamayang Pilipino.

Ikinagagalak ko na ang mga opisyal at empleyado ng DILG ay matitino, mahuhusay, at maaasahan sa trabaho.

The local government units of Tacurong and Koronadal Cities have been identified by the DILG Central Office to be two (2) of the cities nationwide to be featured in a promotional Audio-Visual Presentation (AVP) for CSIS to be used as an information tool for the DILG Field Officers and LGUs in using the results for the improvement and delivery of basic services. Tacurong and Koronadal were two of the cities nationwide that fared well in the CSIS surveys nationwide in 2013 and 2014 respectively.

The DILG XII as the Regional Poverty Reduction Action Team (RPRAT) XII Secretariat spearheaded the conduct of the 2nd Quarter RPRAT XII Meeting on Wednesday, July 21, 2016 at Villa Amor Hotel, City of Koronadal. The activity was sponsored by the DTI XII and participated in by the member agencies together with the DILG Provincial and City Directors, and the BUB Focal Persons from various Local Government Units.

The Office Project Development Services (OPDS), in coordination with the DILG XII recently conducted a consultative meeting/dialogue on the implementation of the locally funded projects in the Region at Koronadal City, South Cotabato.

The team from OPDS, DILG Central Office was spearheaded by Ms. Fe Crisilla A. Banluta, WSSU Program Manager.

Tha activity was conducted to validate the status of the projects, revisit strategies to hasten their implementation and confirmation of targets as committed.
