The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) XII showcased the Barangay of Rosary Heights XII, Cotabato City for the CY 2017 1st semester Barangay Assembly Day on March 25, 2017.

With the theme “Sulong Barangay Kontra Droga, Krimen at Katiwalian: Makialam! Makilahok! Makiisa!, Brgy. Rosary Heights 12 Punong Barangay Abdullah Sekak discussed their barangay compliance on national laws and other related issuances such as Anti-illegal drug laws, DILG-MC No. 2015-63 or the Revitalization of the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) and DILG MC No. 2016-116 or the Mamamayang Ayaw sa Anomalya, Mamamayang ayaw sa Ilegal na Droga (MASA MASID) Program.

Cotabato Province convoke its 9th Liga ng mga Barangay Provincial Chapter held at Grand Regal Hotel, Davao City last March 14-16, 2017 with the theme “LnB Cotabato: Patuloy na Maglilingkod Patungo sa Higit pang Mapayapa at Maunlad na Barangay”. The activity was participated by 543 Barangays which includes the Punong Barangays and Barangay Functionaries all over the said province.

A total of ninety- eight (98) participants from twenty seven (27) barangays in Koronadal City completed the Training of Trainers (TOT) on “Community- Based Monitoring System Accelerated Poverty Profiling (CBMS APP): Module 1: Data Collection using CBMS Scan and CBMS Portal” held on March 13- 17, 2017 at the Conference Room, City Hall of Koronadal City, South Cotabato.

In celebration of the World Water Day (WWD) 2017, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and its partner agencies showcase the potable water supply projects and other wastewater facilities to the mall-goers during the photo exhibit at the Ground Floor Market Market Mall, Taguig City.

DILG Secretary Ismael D. Sueno said the mall exhibit jumpstarts the weeklong celebration of the 2017 WWD from March 15 to 22 with the theme “Water and Wastewater”. The event run from March 15 to 17 during mall hours.
