That is how DILG XII Regional Director Josephine Cabrido-Leysa, CESO III described the formal launching and signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the institutionalization of the CSO Academy of Soccsksargen, considered to be the first learning institution in the country created purposely to “capacitate civil society organization (CSO) leaders” who play important and major roles in local governance.

To equip the skills and competencies of potential LGOO II apprentices for the 54th Batch of Apprenticeship Program, the DILG Rehiyon Dose conducted the General Orientation for its prospective 54th Batch of Apprentices for the Local Government Operations Officers (LGOOs) II and III. To show its valuable support to the apprentices, the DILG XII Regional Management Committee strategically planned out the conduct of the General Orientation.
The activity served as the opening number for the NWMC event on March 21 with the introduction of additional, newly discovered singing talents from the regional office. Local Government Monitoring and Evaluation Division (LGMED) Chief Musarapha A. Alim, delivered the message from Regional Director Josephine Cabrido-Leysa, CESO III which calls for women “to appreciate each other’s worth, and to be aligned, inspired by, and collaborate for the good of all.”

This one-liner has become the byword among the attendees to the first-ever awards ceremony for DILG XII’s top-performing employees and personnel.
Dubbed as the “GEMS for DILG Dose: Praise Awards,” it became one of the anticipated big events for the first quarter of 2022 which highlighted the hardwork, dedication and perseverance of DILG Rehiyon Dose’s powerhouse of personnel and top-level managers.
