The Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (RDRRMC) XII - Disaster Preparedness Committee successfully convened its 3rd Quarter Meeting, where four important resolutions were passed to strengthen the region's disaster preparedness efforts.
The meeting was presided over by Engr. Samuel A. Camaganacan, Assistant Regional Director of DILG XII, he represented Atty. Rochelle D. Mahinay-Sero, CESE, the Committee Vice Chairperson. In his opening message, he shared a powerful reminder from former U.S. President John F. Kennedy: "The time to repair the roof is when the sun is shining."
In a proactive step towards ensuring resilient governance, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Regional Office XII, successfully conducted its first-ever Tabletop Exercise (TTX) for the functionality and effectiveness of its Public Service Continuity Plan (PSCP). The activity was held on September 2-3, 2025, at the DILG Regional Office XII, followed by a focused updating session of the PSCP based on the exercise findings.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region XII, in partnership with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) – Koronadal Extension Office, successfully conducted a webinar on August 6, 2025, focusing on the registration process and reportorial requirements for civil society organizations (CSOs).
The activity was led by SEC Koronadal Extension Office Director, Atty. Nechelle Gedorio-Mesias, who provided technical guidance on regulatory compliance for CSOs. The webinar aimed to equip local CSO Desk Officers and stakeholders with essential knowledge on legal registration and the submission of mandatory reports to the SEC.
