DILG XII, PSA XII TRAINES COTABATO LGUs ON CBMS MODULE III-B

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region XII, through its Local Government Capability Development Division (LGCDD), in partnership with the Philippine

Statistics Authority (PSA) Region XII and the DILG Provincial Office, held a three-day capacity-building activity for local government units (LGUs) in the Province of Cotabato focused on the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Module III-B.

The training, titled “CBMS Module III: Utilizing CBMS Data for Local Planning and Budgeting,” took place from February 18 to 20, 2026, at the FCG Hotel and Convention Center in Kidapawan City.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) underscored its proposed programs and priorities for local government units (LGUs) under the FY 2026 national budget during the Usapang Budget Natin Forum #GAA2026, held on February 10, 2025, in Koronadal City. The forum convened 10 national government agencies, each presenting their flagship programs and projects for the upcoming fiscal year.

FIRST QUARTER AND FIRST SEMESTER CY 2026 EODB AND CBMS FOCAL PERSONS CONFERENCE

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) XII, through the Local Government Capability Development Division (LGCDD), conducted this year’s First Quarter and First Semester CY 2026 EODB and CBMS Focal Persons Conference at the Habi Hotel, City of Koronadal, South Cotabato.

The activity was attended by Program Managers, Provincial/City EODB Focal Persons and Alternates, together with CBMS Focal Persons of the region. It aimed to present and discuss CY 2026 EODB and CBMS-related activities, as well as address issues and concerns for more efficient implementation of EODB PPAs.

DILG REGION XII RECOGNIZED AS ONE OF THE TOP PERFORMING REGIONAL OFFICES IN EODB IMPLEMENTATION FOR FY 2025

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region XII has been recognized as one of the nine (9) Top Performing Regions in the nationwide implementation of the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) programs, projects and activities for Fiscal Year 2025 during the Workshop on Assessing the EODB Program from November 25-27, 2025 at the Royal Mandaya Hotel, Davao City.

Alongside the regional award, LGOO IV Shylack C. Limao was also recognized among the Top Performing Regional Focal for FY 2025 and officially received the certificates during the Recognition of DILG Regions’ Efforts on EODB in the closing ceremony.
