The CBMS Team of DILG Region XII, headed by the team leader LGOO V Mel Roy B. Manait, earned a distinction for presenting the best output using the Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) and Microsoft Power BI tools during the Cluster II Training Workshop on the Generation of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Indicators Using Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Data.

September 14, 2018 - The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) XII in partnership with National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) XII held a convergence meeting with the Planning Officers of the different National Government Agencies (NGAs) in Region 12 at DILG XII Conference Room, Prime Regional Government Center, Koronadal City, South Cotabato.

In preparation to the series of activities on strengthening the local planning process to be implemented within the 4th Quarter of CY2018, the Program Managers, Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) Focal Persons, and Support to Local Government Program (SLGP) personnel gathered during the 2- Day Conference held last August 23- 24, 2018 at 105 Hotel, Koronadal City, South Cotabato.

On September 10-11, 2018, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) XII conducted the 2- Day activity on “Improving Citizen Participation in Local Investment Programming and Local Planning Process” at Hotel De Viajera, Koronadal City, South Cotabato.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government XII used the existing partnership of the Local Government Academy with the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority to train the C/MDRRMOs, C/MPDCs and GIS Experts of the identified twenty two (22) LGUs in the Region on GIS program using the Quantum GIS software on September 17-21, 2018 at Ellis Suites, General Santos City. It was the sixth batch of GIS Training and the last for this year as provided in the Memorandum of Agreement between LGA and NAMRIA.
