DILG XII Regional Director Atty. Rochelle D. Mahinay-Sero played a significant role in the recent Local Governance Summit held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Pasay City last August 22-24, 2024.
With Mahintana Foundation Inc. Executive Director Liza D Hora, Director Mahinay-Sero served as one of the esteemed panelists during Session 5 of the Summit entitled, "Innovative Strategies to Encourage CSO Participation in Local Governance."
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) XII, in partnership with the Regional Inter-Agency Validation (RIAV) Team, launched the Regional Institutional Development Support (RIDS) Regional Cooperation for Good Governance (RCGG) (Buylog Dose) Program under the Support to Local Government Program (SLGP) today, 19 August 2024.

City and Municipal Planning Coordinators across Region XII convened for a two-day orientation and consultation on the PLANADOse assessment tool on 6-7 August 2024 in Koronadal City. The activity is part of the DILG XII’s Buylog Plano Dose Program: Regional Cooperation for Good Governance (RCGG).
The Support for the Local Governance Program (SLGP) of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) held a 3-day Seminar Workshop from August 7-9, 2024, focused on preparing for major upcoming events like the Local Governance Summit, and the Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) Summit. The event took place at the Pine Function Hall, Sequoia Hotel, Quezon City.
