The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) through the Office of Projects Development Services (OPDS), in partnership with the DILG Regional Office and the target Municipal Local Government Units as partners in implementing the Provision of Potable Water Supply – Sagana at Ligtas na Tubig sa Lahat (SALINTUBIG) Program, Assistance to Municipalities (AM) and the Public Market/Public Cemetery (PMPC) program.

“Peaceful elections, this is what we want.”

This is the message that DILG Secretary Eduardo M. Año, Chair of the National Task Force for the Disbandment of Private Armed Groups (NTF-DPAGS) as he addressed attendees to the most recent meeting and press conference at the KCC Convention and Events Center in Gen. Santos City last Oct. 29.

The IATF-EID XII Safety Seal Certification and Inspection Team conducted on-site validation in the Regional Offices of DTI, DepEd, BJMP, LTO, DPWH, and DOLE on October 25-26, 2021 to determine their actual compliance to the minimum health protocols in the workplace.

The Safety Seal inspection team is led by DTI 12 Regional Director Jude S. Jaugan together with DTI 12 Planning Officer III Aiza Bercades, DILG 12 LGOO IV Jon Leo J. Licayan, CPA, DOLE 12 LEO III Oliver S. Sespeñe and DOT 12 TO I Resether Jay Porwelos, as members.

5 Local Government Units in Region XII trained on the “Updating of the Local Revenue Code”, these LGUs are Palimbang, Banga, Maasim, Esperanza, and Magpet , with their Municipal Treasurers, Business Permit and Licensing Officers, Budget Officers, Zoning Officers, Legal Officers, and 2 Sanggunian Members with a total of 37 participants held at Paraiso Verde Hotel last October 21-22, 2021. This activity was spearheaded by the Local Government Capability Development Division ( LGCDD ) of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG XII).

“…These projects are testaments… of the LGUs commitment to the people of Isulan…”

This was how Isulan Mayor Marites K. Pallasigue described the projects from DILG XII amounting to P23.1-million as they were turned over to the LGU last October 12, 2021.

Barangay Kalawag I was a recipient of one (1) road concreting project while two (2) other road projects were received by Barangay Kalawag II. Two other barangays, namely, Sampao and Bambad, were both recipients of a water supply system projects.
