Provincial Local Government Units (PLGUs) in the Region were assisted by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) XII in the formulation of their Customized Provincial Procurement Operations Manual (CPPOM) during a follow-through activity held on October 28 to 31, 2019 at Eighty Eight Hotel, Koronadal City.

CPPOM is one of the major deliverables of PLGUs under the Governance Reform of the Conditional Matching Grant to Provinces (CMGP) Program.

Despite the hectic Monday morning schedule, some employees of DILG RO XII took a few minutes off their routine during their lunch break together with the officials of Barangay Carpenter Hill headed by PB Benedicto Pastera, to join in the repacking of relief goods for the quake-hit areas of Cotabato Province.

PB Pastera has initiated his own campaign to solicit relief goods and has allowed the use of the barangay gymnasium for the repacking activity.

Members of Zone I barangay council led by Kag.Edcil Celestial also reinforced the small band of volunteers to speed up the whole process of repacking 200 sacks of rice into 5-kilo packs for easier distribution.

Twenty-seven (27) Local Government Unit (LGU) Accountants from their respective municipalities, cities, and provinces attended the coordination meeting to discuss issues on the submission of liquidated reports and other financial-related matters regarding the implementation of DILG infrastructure projects last October 22 at Villa Amor Hotel, City of Koronadal.
