DILG Dose Regional Director Josephine Cabrido-Leysa, CESO III, together with the members of the Regional Executive Committee, led the ceremonial groundbreaking ceremony last July 22, 2022 as the building project gets a green light to start its construction.

The new building amounting to PHP 6,000,000.00 is a two-storey office building which features a garage on the ground floor and an ample office space area on the second floor.

In its bid to continue pursue a culture of excellence, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Rehiyon Dose  treated its technical personnel to a two-day Learning Session and  Peace Summit: Peacebuilders, Peacekeepers’ #Positivepeace” – Year Two on June 9-10, 2022 at the Greenleaf Hotel, General Santos City.

The activity was part of the initiatives of the LGRRC Dose generally aimed in scaling up the capacity and sharpen the sword of its C/MLGOOs and Provincial and Regional Personnel on the various P/A/Ps implemented by the Support to Local Governance Program for FY 2022.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government in coordination with the Local Government Academy (LGA) through the regional NEO Training Management Team conducted an Orientation on the Guidelines in the Implementation of the 2022 Program for Newly-Elected Officials (NEOs) for the DILG field officers of the region on July 15, 2022 via Zoom.

The activity intends to help the NEOs navigate their First 100 Days in the office and explore strategic and transformational actions to improve leadership and management capacities of LGU towards effective service delivery and better performance.
