business-friendliness and competitiveness, environmental management, and law and order and public safety.

Transition from SGH to SGLG

The SGLG origanated from SGH. From its pilot run in 2010, the Seal of Good Housekeeping (SGH) promotes transparency and accountability in local operations. In 2010 84% of provinces, cities and municipalities are SGH recipients. This high percentage shows readiness for greater challanges.

Today, SGLG is introduced to challange local governments to continue good governance practices while providing better public services.
