The Department of the Interior and Local Government continues to develop a project monitoring system to keep track of the progress of projects in every localities. Project monitoring system is for the organization and project itself to see how it is doing against objective, whether it is having an impact, or if it is working efficiently.  It also acts as an easy access tool for the citizens or beneficiaries to give feedbacks about the ongoing and completed government projects.

The members of the Federalism Speaker’s Bureau of the DILG XII were invited by the Philippine Councilors League Sarangani Federation during their Mid-Year Provincial Assembly on July 16-17, 2018 at FB Hotel, Koronadal City.

Federalism Focal Person, LGOO II Relmie Tamson, a Member of Federalism Speaker’s Bureau, introduced the concept of federalism and its difference with the existing unitary form of government while Regional Project Officer on Federalism, Anne Joy Toledo-Sanchez, gave a glimpse on the successes of the federal countries around the globe in bringing basic services to the people.

The Project Development Management Unit (PDMU) – 12 in coordination with the Office of the Project Development Services (OPDS) conducted its first Consultative Conference for Water Projects under the SALINTUBIG Program for Autonomous Region for Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) on August 16, 2018. The Participants are the City/ Municipal Engineer, Accountant, C/MPDC and the Local Chief Executives of the following recipient LGUs of 2016 SALINTUBIG, viz: Basilan (Lamitan City, Maluso, Sulu, Hadji Panglima Tahil, Patikul), Tawi-tawi (Sibutu, Sitangkai), Maguindanao (South Upi, Sultan Sa Barongis, Mamasapano, Pagalungan, Paglat) and Lanao Del Sur (Mulondo, Piagapo)

The Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC) XII successfully conducted its 2nd regular meeting last July 11, 2018 at SP Session Hall, Provincial Capitol Bldg., Isulan, Sultan Kudarat.

The meeting was presided by no less than the RPOC XII Chairperson, Hon. Governor Datu Pax Mangudadatu, Al Haj., Ph.D.  It was attended by the RPOC XII Vice Chairperson, PCSupt. Marcelo C. Morales, Head Secretariat DILG RD Reynaldo M. Bungubung, CESO IV, PPOC chairperson of Sarangani, Hon. Governor Steve Solon.  Present also are the commanders of the 10th ID, 6th ID and 4th ID of the Philippine Army and the other 30 regular members of the RPOC XII.

In two (2) separate activities, a total of one hundred and eighteen (118) former rebels who surrendered in the provinces of Sultan Kudarat and Sarangani were granted financial assistance under the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP).

On July 11, 2018, Sultan Kudarat 1st District Congressman Datu Suharto Mangudadatu, DILG Undersecretary for Peace and Order Bernardo Florece, Jr. and DND Undersecretary for Civil Veterans and Retirees Affairs Reynaldo Mapagu led the awarding ceremony for one hundred and six (106) former rebels who surrendered in Sultan Kudarat.
