The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Regional Office XII earned recognition from the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) during the Pasidungog: Gabi ng Parangal held on November 28, 2024, at The Farm, Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City, South Cotabato.
DILG Dose was honored for its Group Enrollment Program, which successfully enrolled all its Contract of Service Personnel under PhilHealth for Calendar Year 2024, and religiously remitting contributions on time. The award was received by DILG XII Chief of Staff Jon Leo J. Licayan, CPA, on behalf of Regional Director Atty. Rochelle D. Mahinay-Sero, CESE.
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 12, through its Project Development and Management Unit, successfully held the 2024 Regional Subaybayani and Local Project Monitoring Committee (LPMC) Functionality Awards on November 8, 2024, in Koronadal City.
These awards recognize outstanding local government units (LGUs) and LPMCs for their exemplary performance in monitoring and implementing government projects, with a focus on transparency, accountability, and citizen participation.
General Santos City, November 5, 2024 — In preparation for the May 2025 National and Local Elections and the BARMM Parliamentary Elections, the Regional Joint Security Control Center (RJSCC) Command Conference convened at the Police Regional Office 12 Multi-Purpose Hall in Barangay Tambler, General Santos City. The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region XII joined key government agencies and security forces in a coordinated effort to enhance security strategies and ensure a peaceful, orderly electoral process across Region 12.
Region XII hosted a Regional Decentralization Conference to discuss reforms to the Local Government Code of 1991 (LGC). This landmark event gathered the academe, civil society organizations (CSOs), DILG XII officials, local leaders, and policy makers to propose amendments aimed at improving governance, fiscal autonomy, and service deliver at the local level.
