In a significant move towards enhancing professional competence and growth, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region XII recently concluded an orientation on Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Accreditation in collaboration with the Professional Regulation Commission XII (PRC XII).
The Department of the Interior and Local Government – Support to Local Governance Program (DILG-SLGP) conducted the National Training of Trainers on Strengthening CSO Desk Officers. The event saw participation from the Regional Coordination Team and marked an essential step towards fostering collaboration and enhancing the role of CSO Desk Officers in the country.
The opening remarks were gracefully presented by the Assistant Program Manager, Glenn Miranda. In his discourse, he emphasized the significance of the training and the need to strengthen the capacities of CSO Desk Officers. "The path to a more integrated and informed community starts here," he noted.

For Bantay - Korapsyon Program Regional Assistant Coordinator position, the responsibilities/tasks of the position shall be as follows, viz:
RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:
A. Be the assistant focal person in the regional level of the Bantay Korapsyon for the proper implementation of the program in the field and facilitation of visits by the Supervising Authority (SA) and/or other Officers;
Civil Society Organizations ( CSOs) from the different parts of the region joined the First Episode of Dagyaw 2023 Open Government Town Hall Meeting on June 30, 2023 in Koronadal City.
Through the Dagyaw, participants were able to air their sentiments, raise their concerns and give suggestions in co-opting CSOs in the development process.
