Forty Seven (47) former rebels (FRs) received their immediate assistance worth Php 15,000.00 each and Php 50,000.00 each as their livelihood assistance during the awarding of the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (ECLIP) benefits at South Cotabato Gym and Cultural Center (SCGCC), City of Koronadal on June 6, 2020. Overall, each beneficiary received a total of Php 65,000.00. The releasing unit was able to receive Php 21,000.00 as administrative support while our Former Rebels stay and undergoing the screening/validation process.

All Local Chief Executives in SOCCSKSARGEN Region have given their full support in the passage of the Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020 which amends the Human Security Act of 2007.
During the Monday convocation on June 22, DILG XII Regional Director Josephine Cabrido-Leysa, CESO III revealed that the Region was able to secure the support of all its four provincial governors, four city mayors and 46 municipal mayors. This 100% support makes Region XII one of the highest regions in the country with the highest LCE support for the bill.
Region XII is currently leading the country with the highest accomplishment rates in both the physical and financial aspect of the Conditional Matching Grant to Provinces (CMGP) Program implementation, the DILG-Office of Project Development Services (OPDS) confirmed.
As of May 31, 2020, Region XII recorded a physical accomplishment rate of 95.80%. This covers the Region’s CMGP funded projects from 2016 to 2019, OPDS said.
Following the list is Region X with 95.00%, Region XIII with 92.20%, Region XI with 91.90%, and Region IV-B (MIMAROPA) with 91.80%.
The Department of the Interior and Local Government XII, through its Project Development Management Unit (PDMU), has recently conducted a Mid-Year Implementation Review (MPIR) to monitor the status of the physical, financial, and governance reform accomplishments of Provincial Local Government Units (PLGUs) under the conditional matching grant to provinces (CMGP) program of the DILG.
On June 16, PDMU hosted the said virtual meeting with PLGUs’ Local Road Management Teams and Office of Project Development Services-DILG Central Office representatives in attendance.
The four provinces in Region XII will soon have additional paved roads as they await for the release of funds for their proposed provincial road projects under the 2020 Conditional Matching Grant to Provinces (CMGP), this after DILG successfully endorsed all of the provinces' proposed projects to the Department of Budget and Management (DBM).
DILG XII confirmed the said report in a letter signed by DILG-OPDS Director IV Rolyn Q. Zambales to DILG XII Regional Director Josephine Cabrido-Leysa, CESO III dated June 2, 2020.
