DILG Dose Regional Director, Atty. Rochelle D. Mahinay - Sero, CESE, participated in the Legislative Capacity Enhancement Training held for the Sangguniang Bayan members of the Municipality of Banga, South Cotabato. The event took place in Davao City and served as a crucial platform for local legislators to advance their skills and knowledge in legislative processes.

During the training, RD Mahinay - Sero delivered a lecture on local legislation, a key component of the seminar. Her presentation focused on the intricate aspects of creating and implementing effective local laws and ordinances. She emphasized the importance of understanding the legal framework within which local governments operate, highlighting how well-crafted legislation can drive community development and address local issues efficiently.

The session covered several essential topics, including the legislative process, roles and responsibilities of local legislators, and best practices in drafting impactful ordinances. Her insights provided the Sangguniang Bayan members with a deeper understanding of how to align their legislative efforts with national standards while catering to the unique needs of their municipalities.
