Highlighting the event was the search for Ms. BJMP XII Empowered Women 2025, where DILG XII was invited as the chairman of the board of judges. The program officially commenced with an inspiring message from Assistant Regional Director JSUPT. Israel R. Arboleda, who emphasized the importance of empowering women within the BJMP workforce and beyond.

One of the highlights of the event was the inspirational message delivered by DILG XII Regional Director Atty. Rochelle Mahinay-Sero, CESE. She underscored the vital role of women in

nation-building and governance, encouraging female officers to continue striving for excellence in both their professional and personal lives. "Empowerment is not just about being seen or heard—it is about making a difference. Every woman in this room is a leader, a change-maker, and a beacon of strength," she stated.

The Ms. BJMP XII Empowered Women 2025 event successfully concluded with winners being recognized for their grace, intelligence, and advocacy for gender equality. DILG XII remains committed to supporting programs that champion women’s empowerment and gender-responsive governance, reinforcing its dedication to an inclusive and progressive society. Beauty pageants, particularly those focused on empowerment, serve as a celebration of confidence, intelligence, and leadership. For women in BJMP, participating in such events is more than just a showcase of beauty—it is a testament to their resilience, dedication, and ability to break stereotypes in a male-dominated field. Pageantry helps amplify their voices, allowing them to express advocacies that promote gender equality, professional growth, and community service.
