DILG XII conducted Orientation on Federalism for SK Officials of Cotabato Province on June 30, 2018 at the JC Complex, Kidapawan City. 

“I urge everyone to give their full attention on the orientation to completely understand the concepts and the emerging model of federalism so that you can aide the department in its massive campaign on federalism”, PD Ali B. Abdullah emphasized in his welcome message for he recognizes the vital role of the millennial youths on the success of the government’s campaign on federalism.

Ms. Anne Joy Sanchez, Regional Project Officer on Federalism-DILG XII discussed the Federalism 101, while Mr. Relmie Tamson, LGOO II and Member of Federalism Speakers’ Bureau presented the Emerging Models of Federalism 1.0.

The participants actively participated in the forum, and deliberately aired their concerns on the concept of Philippine Federalism and asked for safety nets and assurances for the government to ensure the future of the youths under a federal system.

The activity sought to increase awareness and knowledge of SK Official, as well as to multiply the number of our young advocates for Federalism.
