To ensure the effective implementation of the Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP), the DILG XII has recently hosted the conduct of a Coordination Meeting with RTF-ECLAC Core Team on January 23, 2020 at the DILG 12 Conference Room, Prime Regional Center, Barangay Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City, South Cotabato.

The meeting was presided over by DILG XII Regional Director Josephine Cabrido-Leysa, CESO III with ten (10) participants coming from the Philippine National Police (PNP) XII, 10th Infantry Division, Philippine Army, and the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA) XII in attendance.

RD Leysa emphasized in her message that they have set their sights on 186 target barangays for CY 2020 RCSP Roll Out.  These barangays must be given appropriate interventions according to the phases and steps of the RCSP Program.  In line with this, Dir. Leysa informed the participants that the DILG will be conducting Orientations for the various RCSP Teams on February 2020 and target LGUs were given a deadline until January 31, 2020 for the organization of their RCSP Teams and Barangay Task Forces.

During the said meeting, LGMED Assistant Division Chief Ian Jon S. Clemente, ELCAC Regional Focal Person, identified the various barangays which were listed as targets: 52 barangays in Cotabato Province, 69 in South Cotabato, 15 in Sultan Kudarat, 42 in Sarangani Province and 8 in General Santos City. The RCSP Steps and Timelines were also presented to ensure that the schedules will be followed, along with the status of the organization of Local and Barangay Task Forces and RCSP Teams.
