Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC) XII Successfully Conducts its 1st Regular Meeting

The Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC) XII successfully conducted its 1st regular meeting last April 23, 2018 at The Farm, Carpenter Hill, City of Koronadal,  South Cotabato.

The meeting was presided by no less than the RPOC XII Chairperson, Hon. Governor Datu Pax Mangudadatu.  It was attended by the RPOC XII Vice Chairperson, PCSupt. Marcelo C. Morales, Head Secretariat DILG RD Reynaldo M. Bungubung, CESO IV, PPOC chairpersons of Sarangani and Cotabato, Governors Steve Solon and Emmylou “Lala” Taliño-Mendoza, respectively.  Present also are the commanders of the 10th ID and 6th ID of the Philippine Army and the other 24 regular members of the RPOC XII.

The meeting was also graced by DILG Assistant Secretary for Peace and Order, Alexander Macario, and Head Executive Assistant Josephine C. Leysa, CESO IV.

Hon. Governor Steve C. Solon of Sarangani presented the modest contributions of their province to the overall regional peace and order initiatives; PD Ali B. Abdullah for the province of Cotabato; OIC PD Aurora Andrea G. De Pedro and PSSupt. Nestor A.  Salcedo for the province of South Cotabato while PSSupt. James E. Gulmatico for Sultan Kudarat province.

Meanwhile, law enforcement updates and accomplishments were delivered by PSSupt. Joseph P. Semillano and the anti-terrorism and insurgency updates by the 6th ID and the 10th ID of the Philippine Army.

The acting RD Valente G. Cariño of PDEA XII also presented the highlights of their anti-illegal drugs program implementation.
