The Regional Crisis Management Committee under the Regional Peace and Order and Council (RPOC) XII, and the Regional Law Enforcement Coordinating Committee (RLECC) XII conducted a joint meeting on September 6, 2016 at the FB Hotel, City of Koronadal, to come up with a concerted efforts in addressing criminalities and corruption in the Region, and to shed light on the President’s declaration of “State of Lawlessness”.
Atty. Dinah Jean Cornejo of the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) comprehensively discussed the legal parameters of the “State of Lawlessness”, which clearly brought further awareness among the members of the committees.
Governor Daisy Avance-Fuentes of South Cotabato, clarified from the Department of Health (DOH) the interventions being made by the agency specifically on the rehabilitation of drug surrenderees.
The members agreed on various strategies in upholding the peace and order in the entire Region. As an offshoot of the meeting, Regional Director Reynaldo M. Bungubung, CESO IV of the Department of the Interior and Local Government XII called for Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC) meeting on September 20, 2016.
