Newly-hired MASA MASID Regional/community facilitators undergo orientation

Pursuant to the DILG Advisory dated July 7, 2017 on the Hiring and Renewal Guidelines for the MASA-MASID Project Field Personnel for the Contract Period July-December 2017, the DILG XII being the lead convener of MASA-MASID held its one-day orientation for regional and community facilitators conducted last August 15, 2017 at the Viajera Dine and Café, City of Koronadal.

During the orientation, the MASA-MASID Regional Focal Person, Ms. Jermie A. Erie-Yeager presented the MASA-MASID Project, MASA-MASID Advocacy and Education Campaign, and MASA-MASID Information Gathering, Reporting, and Monitoring. Ms. Mary Ann Traspe of DILG XII discussed the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees, and the administrative requirements. Atty. Michelle Ann P. Viejo also discussed a brief concept of Federalism. Further, Musarapha A. Alim, OIC-Chief of LGMED discussed the Delineation of Task and Responsibilities of MASA MASID Field Implementers.

The said orientation aims to capacitate the MASA-MASID Regional and Community Facilitators of their roles and responsibilities as well as the systems and procedures in the implementation of the MASA MASID program to combat criminalities, corruption, anti-illegal drugs, violent extremisms and other Peace and Order threats.
