In 2017, DILG XII portrays enthusiasm and commitment to engage again with the flagship program of the Department- the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG). All of its fifty-four (54) provincial, city and municipal LGUs are prepared for the endeavor. All the LGPMS Team of the LGUs were reorganized and the SGLG Group account was created for constant update and for avenue of forum to address the issues and concerns encountered during the phases of the program implementation.

The DILG Region XII, in its efforts to provide effective and efficient services to its clients when it comes to serving its mandates, embarked
on establishing a quality management system (QMS) that is aligned to the International Organization for Standardization ( ISO 9001:2015).
On July 4-7, 2017 at Sarangani Highlands Garden, General Santos City, the DILG XII hosted the conduct of the Initial Capability Building on the Establishment of the ISO 9001:2015 QMS for Regions XI and XII with a total of 90 participants wherein the Regional Quality Policy and quality procedures were drafted.

MALUNGON, Sarangani Province – The Department of the Interior and Local Government has awarded two local government units and the provincial government itself with the prestigious Seal of Good Local Governance after being deemed to have satisfactorily complied with the prescribe qualification in the lookup of an accountable and transparent governance.

DILG confers Malungon with prestigious ‘SGLG” award (March 22, 2017) – Mayor Tessa D. Constantino receives the “Seal of Good Local Governance” award for cy 2015 from DILG12 regional director Reynaldo M. Bungubung right after the Monday flag raising ceremony at the Capitol Provincial Ground in Alabel, Sarangani Province. Modestly extending credit to her father, former Mulungon town Mayor Bong Constantino, the July 2016-assumed lady chief executive, in a speech, has too called for gov’t employees to work with passion in order to afford the common tao with the kind of public service they deserve.
