Region XII govt execs await 2nd dose of Covid-19 jab

More than thirty (30) regional directors and assistant regional directors from various national line agencies are now looking forward to receive the second dose of Covid-19 Vaccine as they mark their fifteenth day on June 8.

These executives had been recipient of the first dose of the Chinese-made Covid-19 vaccine on May 25, which was intended for those who are in the A3 priority list. DOH has outlined that these vaccines should only be given to health workers (which belonged to the A1 priority group), A2 (senior citizens), and A3 (people with comorbidities.) Region XII RDs and ARDS under A3 took their shots at the KCC Mall of Marbel Events Center in Koronadal City last May 25.

DILG XII turns over 1st LGU-Run Drug Rehab facility to LGU Malungon

DILG XII Regional Director Josephine Cabrido – Leysa, CESO III led the formal turn-over of the Region’s first Municipal Drug Rehabilitation facility worth P9.8 Million to the LGU of Malungon, Sarangani Province on April 14, 2021.

DILG XII re-echoes Health Department’s public appeal for strict observance of health protocols, as the Region records spike in COVID-19 cases

DILG XII Regional Director Josephine Cabrido-Leysa, CESO III, has once again reiterated her crusade to all DILG XII employees and personnel to strictly observe minimum public health protocols, especially while at work, to avoid the risk of being infected with Covid-19.

In her regular briefers via the Viber and Messenger Group Chats, she called on all division heads and field officials to take heed of the warnings as health authorities in the Region also renewed their call to the public “to refrain from doing non-essential travels and attending social gatherings and to strictly follow the minimum health protocols to prevent the rise of COVID-19 cases”.

LGU President Roxas receives P17M worth of projects from DILG XII

“A victory for President Roxas…”

This is how DILG XII Regional Director Josephine Cabrido-Leysa, CESO III, described the latest projects of the Department of the Interior and Local Government as they were turned over to the LGU of President Roxas on March 25.

In her message, she emphasized that the municipality is one of the chosen localities in the region to receive such projects. The director also appreciated the LGU’s effective implementation of the projects and challenged each official to continue the good practice.

P13-M worth Concrete Access Road Project turned over by DILG XII to Magpet LGU

DILG XII Regional Director Josephine Cabrido – Leysa spearheaded the turn-over of the Php 13 Million worth concrete access road to LGU of Magpet, Cotabato Province on April 5, 2021.

In her message, Regional Director Leysa commended the LGU’s fast and successful implementation of the concrete access road linking Barangay Pangao-an to Barangay Manobisa in the said municipality. She highlighted the Department’s commitment to capacitate and work alongside with the LGUs, as it aims to provide functional projects based on the needs of the residents.
