The DILG XII, in pursuing the Department’s mandate to spearhead the advocacy on Federalism, conducted last September 27, 2017 at the Farm @ Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City the Multi-Stakeholders’ Forum on Federalism Cum Consultation with CSOs/NGOs/POs. The activity was participated, among others, by the local chief executives, NGOs, POs and some representatives from the academe and professional group. Atty. Benedicto Bacani, Executive Director of the Institute for Autonomy and Governance based in Cotabato City, a policy institute that promotes peace, development and good governance in conflict and post-conflict affected areas in the southern Philippines, was the resource speaker. In the afternoon, the CSOs, NGOs and POs were consulted and oriented on the accreditation process to be implemented by the Department for all its partners.
