DILG XII conducts RPMES Training-Orientation

As part of the Department’s quest in strengthening the LGUs’ capability in the efficient and effective delivery of basic services to their constituents and to ensure the proper and quality implementation of all Locally Funded Projects (LFPs) in the region, the DILG XII in partnership with the Regional Project Monitoring Committee (RPMC) XII spearheaded by Regional Director Arturo Valero of NEDA XII being the Chairman of the Committee, recently conducted the Training-Orientation on Regional Project Monitoring and Evaluation System (RPMES) relative to the Implementation of LFPs.

The activity was conducted in five batches on the following dates and venue:

  • July 5-6, 2017 (Family Country Hotel, General Santos City) for the South Cotabato and General Santos City;
  • July 12-13, 2017 (Sarangani Highlands, General Santos City) for Sarangani Province;
  • August 2-3, 2017 (Villa Amor Hotel, City of Koronadal) for Sultan Kudarat;
  • August 9-10, 2017 and  August 17-18, 2017 (JC Leisure and Business Place, Kidapawan City) for Cotabato Province

In attendance were the Provincial/City/Municipal Planning and Development Coordinators, Provincial/City Directors, City/Municipal Local Government Operations Officers, members of the Local Development Councils and representatives from the private organizations/NGOs/CSOs.

In his welcome remarks, RD Reynaldo M. Bungubung, CESO IV expressed his thanks for the presence of all the attendees. “Guided by this RPMES, I am confident that we can ensure the proper and quality implementation of projects in our jurisdiction. By doing so, we can increase the level of our performance in terms of project implementation and we can continue to contribute to the attainment of national progress” he added.
