DILG XII Conducts CSIS AVP Production In Tacurong and Koronadal Cities

The local government units of Tacurong and Koronadal Cities have been identified by the DILG Central Office to be two (2) of the cities nationwide to be featured in a promotional Audio-Visual Presentation (AVP) for CSIS to be used as an information tool for the DILG Field Officers and LGUs in using the results for the improvement and delivery of basic services. Tacurong and Koronadal were two of the cities nationwide that fared well in the CSIS surveys nationwide in 2013 and 2014 respectively.

The DILG has commissioned the services of Business Unusual Media Solutions, Inc. (BUMS) to develop and produce the said AVP. The Local Chief Executives are the key informants in the LGU for the said project.
Representing DILG XII Regional Director Reynaldo M. Bungubung, CESO IV, the CSIS anchor persons led by Engr. Ester P. Valdez ushered the AVP Production Team to the multi-awarded Mayor Lina O. Montilla on August 4, 2016 at the Tacurong City Hall. During the interview, Mayor Montilla said that one of the plans/projects that the LGU had undertaken that was in any way motivated by the CSIS program is increasing the budget for the information and education campaign (IEC) to promote awareness among constituents the basic services that are being delivered by the Local Government.
Also interviewed during the said activity was Dr. Melody Zaragosa, the CSIS Project Manager of the Local Resource Institute (Notre Dame of Tacurong College) that implemented the program on the ground. She narrated the benefits and opportunities that opened up for their institution after it was involved in this program.

As a social marketing strategy of promoting awareness of the CSIS to the LGUs and the general public, the DILG develops this CSIS Promotional Audio-Visual Presentation aimed at increasing the interest of the citizens to participate in this program now and in the coming program implementations in the communities.
