The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) XII’s Project Development and Management Unit (PDMU) carried out a Cross-Constructor’s Performance Evaluation System (CPES) Assessment on the on-going Concreting of Bacalto-Mission Farm to Market Road in Brgy. Sto. Niño, Bagumbayan, Sultan Kudarat last June 25, 2024, a Rural Agro-Enterprise Partnership for Inclusive Development (RAPID) and Growth Project in Region XII.

Accredited CPES-Technical Engineers from DILG South Cotabato and Sarangani conducted the said assessment on the project which stretches for 1.38 kilometers.

This project worth Php 22, 500,000.00, funded by the International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD), thru the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region XII, is expected to provide better road access to residents in transporting farm produce to processing facilities.

Barangay Sto. Niño has an estimated of 273 hectares of coconut and coffee as its major crops.

The activity was carried out to ensure that project implementation is in conformity to the specified scope and quality, and identify other factors affecting the implementation of the project.

The Cross-CPES Assessment aims to ensure that infrastructure projects are properly implemented as well as to promote transparency among the project owners, constructor, and to the community.

The activity was also joined by the Division Chief of Business Development Division and RAPID Growth Provincial Project Coordinator of DTI Sultan Kudarat Province.
