The Performance Challenge Fund (PCF) is an incentive given to Local Government Units that exemplifies excellence and effective governance. In the recently conducted 2018 SGLG National Awarding Ceremony, a total of nine (9) LGUs of Region XII were awarded with the Seal of Good Local Governance making them eligible to receive a PCF.

On December 6, 2018 the DILG XII spearheaded the conduct of the Regional Rollout of 2018 PCF Operational Policy at Koronadal City. No less than Regional Director Reynaldo M. Bungubung, CESO IV led the ceremonial releasing of checks to the awardees namely: Cotabato Province, Kidapawan City and the Municipality of Magpet, Midsayap, Columbio, Lambayong, Esperanza, Polomolok, and Surallah.

PDMU Chief Engr. Herminia S. Ontoy and Engr. Mhelphil Jay Bordios presented the operational guidelines in the implementation of the 2018 Performance Challenge Fund. LGU recipients were reminded to fast track and immediately proceed with the procurement process since elections is coming, hence the election ban.
