DILG Rehiyon Dose’s 6 LGOOs join Batch 55 Apprenticeship Program

Six (6) local government operations officer (LGOO) trainees from DILG Rehiyon Dose are going through some serious ‘sifting and shaping,’ for almost four (4) months now, for the apprenticeship program for LGOO II and III in New Clark City (NCC), Capas, Tarlac from June 4-July 9, 2023.

RD Josephine Cabrido-Leysa, CESO III, DILG Xii Regional Director, has arranged for an informal send-off for the delegates in her office prior to their training. Once the Rehiyon Dose contingent have completed the course, they will become part of Batch 55 of the LGOO Training.

Before their scheduled departure for the training, the apprentices completed their General Orientation Course last February 27- March 3, 2023 at the DILG Regional Office XII in Koronadal City. They then proceeded to the next module entitled ‘Dynamics of Local Government’ which ran from May 2-12, 2023. The next course, ‘Applied Research and Data Analysis’ lasted for 10 days, from March 15-25 and they are now dealing with Foundation Course which started on June 4, 2023 will commence  on July 9.

The DILG Rehiyon Dose Batch 55 apprentices include LGOO II Darwin G. Agbon and LGOO II Kimberly T. Tuanzon, from the DILG Regional Office, LGOO III Joanne A. Castre and LGOO II Cheeza P. Mirasol from DILG-Sultan Kudarat and LGOO III Aslamia K. Anggie and LGOO III Wyndle Joy P. Paneza of DILG-Cotabato.

RD Leysa believes in ‘knowing the potential of a person’ and she extends full support to those who take up the challenge and are willing to take another step in their career.

Meanwhile, Chief Admin Officer Dennis T. Sucol expressed hope that the “apprentices will be able to rise and shine during the course of their training.”
