Universities and barangay officials within Region XII were recently provided an avenue to express their opinions on the proposed shift to a federal form of government.
A number of selected students from the Notre Dame of Marbel University and Sultan Kudarat State University were oriented of the basic concepts of federalism, its advantages and disadvantages last November 14 and 17, 2017, respectively. Atty. Michelle Anne P. Viejo and Helen Grace Sayon as resource speakers in the said activities.
Meanwhile, a Provincial Dialogue on Federalism was also conducted last November 20 and 21, 2017 participated by barangay officials in Sultan Kudarat at Antonia’s Resto and Catering Services at Isulan Sultan Kudarat.
