The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region XII (DILG Dose), in collaboration with the City Health Office of the City of Koronadal, South Cotabato, administered influenza vaccines to its employees at the regional office on January 24, 2025. By ensuring that its workforce is protected through vaccination, it aims to minimize the occurrence of flu-related illnesses, maintaining the quality and efficiency of the regional operations.

“As public servants, their health and well-being directly impact their capacity to serve the Filipino people. Investing in preventive measures such as flu vaccination not only safeguards them but also contributes to the broader public health goal of reducing the incidence and burden of influenza nationwide,” Regional Director Atty. Rochelle D. Mahinay- Sero, CESE stated.

This initiative is crucial to ensure the health and safety of DILG Dose workforce, particularly as they perform their duties amidst the challenges of the seasonal influenza season and the continued presence of other public health concerns.
