“Being a mom is like no other job in the world, and her job is never done.”

Headed by the Regional Director Josephine Cabrido-Leysa, CESO V, the Department of the Interior and Local Government Regional Office XII celebrated Mother’s day last May 6, 2019 at the DILG XII Conference Room. The surprise celebration reflected the love, appreciation and recognition for all the mothers in the Department. 

Engr. Mhelphil Jay T. Bordios of PDMU serenaded all the mothers with a song entitled “Beautiful Girl” to highlight the different kind of ‘beauty’ that moms exude: life-giving, nurturing, loving. Some selected male personnel of DILG XII gave cupcakes and roses to each of the Department’s Supermoms. Love filled the Conference Room and the ensuing laughter echoed all throughout the activity. The ladies who received the tokens had fun having their best poses captured by the camera, preserving the joy of the moment.

Provincial Director Ali B. Abdullah of DILG Cotabato Province also joined the celebration and shared some insights regarding the Muslim Ramadan 2019. PD Ali gave important reminder of the dos and don’ts to be practiced during the month of Ramadan for our Muslim brothers and sisters
