Convergence Meeting with RLAs on PDP Localization: Regional Results Matrices for 2017- 2022

September 14, 2018 - The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) XII in partnership with National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) XII held a convergence meeting with the Planning Officers of the different National Government Agencies (NGAs) in Region 12 at DILG XII Conference Room, Prime Regional Government Center, Koronadal City, South Cotabato.

With the aim to augment the data in the Regional Development Plan- Regional Results Matrices (RDP- RRM) for 2107- 2022 as the basis on the formulation of provincial and city/ municipal results matrices,  eighteen (18) agencies agreed to submit on September 24, 2018 their respective targets in support to Philippine Development Plan (PDP) 2017- 2022 and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This localization endeavor aims to ensure that PPAs implemented by local governments are consistent to the achievement of the targeted outcomes of PDP priorities sectors and areas.

Assistant Regional Director Lailyn A. Ortiz formally opened the activity and expressed her sincere hospitality to the attendees. She further underscored the collaborative efforts among agencies to implement the localization agenda as scheduled to commence on October 2018 in the Region.

At the Closing part, Local Government Capability Development Division (LGCDD) Chief, Maria Theresa D. Bautista, manifested her warmhearted appreciation on the commitment conveyed by the agencies and encouraged the same on the succeeding activities of the Department on localizing the national development thrusts and priorities.
