23 local government units (LGUs) from the SOCCSKSARGEN Region earned the prestigious Seal of Child-Friendly Local Governance (SCFLG) based on the result of the 2023 Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA).
Among the 23 LGUs that received the SCFLG are the following:

The 2023 CFLGA evaluates LGUs across key areas, including survival, development, protection, participation, and governance, ensuring that children’s rights remain a priority in local policies and programs based on their 2022 performance. DILG Dose commends these LGUs for their outstanding work in making their communities safer for children, expanding their access to essential services, and fostering children's active participation in planning and development projects. Furthermore, the department believes that the SCFLG contributes to each LGU's achievement of the Seal of Good Local Governance, underscoring the importance of child-focused governance in achieving sustainable development goals.
